Hello,
We have done several long-distance treks and are excited to learn about the Way of St. Francis. We are reading the guidebook in preparation for a possible effort in spring 2018. It looks tougher than the Camino de Santiago, which we walked in 2013. We have also done the West Highland and Great Glen ways in Scotland and walked the Tour du Mont Blanc last year. It was challenging as far as elevation goes, but was only 110 miles.
We look forward to learning about the Way of St. Francis! We are particularly interested in learning about lodging. We are wondering if it is possible to arrange luggage transfer as one walks from place to place.
