My wife and I are walking from Ivera to Rome starting Sept 1, 2018. We will fly from Seattle to Paris and take a train to Turin, Italy spend the night and then take a train to Ivrea. There is a DHL office in Turin so we will send our two suitcases to our hotel in Rome. The hotel said they would store them until we arrived. We have not been able to find any daily luggage transfer service between Ivera and Lucca. From Lucca on, it is not a problem. They charge 15 euros each day which compared to Spain and France where they charge 7 euros is a bit much. We will be staying in hotels or B&B's. I have attached our itinerary which includes start and end cities, hotel price and name of hotel for each day. The last line is the hotel cost for the 39 days.

Congratulation for your plan! I'm very impressed by your organization.
I wish I was like you. :)
About daily luggage service on Via Francigena, I'm sorry, but you can understand that the small number of Pilgrims (so far) in the North Italy part of it, compared to the South one, didn't raise the interest for any business yet.
And the service you found for the South part is probably the only one available and it doesn't have too much requests yet. That's why it's so expensive.
I'm glad you will spend a day in Turin. You will find so many interesting and exciting things to see and visit, not to mention our food.

B&B La Torre Merlata in Palestro (just beyond vercelli) offers luggage service. check their website: https://www.latorremerlata.it/.
