Looking for information/guide book to plan our trip. I have the Italian Francigena app, but would like more details.

there is a cicerone guide, but the version I've seen was rather outdated.
there is an english translation of the italian terre di mezzo guide, this june (at least) it was on sale in aosta's tourist office for €20. this may be the most up-to-date guide at the moment.
check also the official site: https://www.viefrancigene.org/en/ with the useful maps, historic comments and the latest accommodation info.
and, of course, read the post on this and the original forum: https://www.caminodesantiago.me/community/forums/via-francigena-to-rome.132/.

Thank you for the leads! I ordered the terre di mezzo guidebook last week and will investigate the Cicerone book.
