Hello!
Mary and I are starting from San Gran Bernardo on 9th Aug with intentions to arrive in Rome on 17th Sept. Are you walking Via Francigena during this time - it would be comforting to know that we may not be the only ones on this journey at this time!

Don't worry, that period is "high season" over here, and you will meet a good deal of other Pilgrims.
Of course, don't expect the crowd of other Caminos. ;)

Hey Thierre, I am planning on walking at this exact time next year so I wouldn't mind an overveiw of the weather once you are finished if you don't mind and have the time. Jenny

Will do! I am expecting high temps. so for us it will be a very early start every day.
